Hi, my name is Fahad Bin Ashiq 23 years old belongs to middle class family from Lahore Pakistan. I have done matriculation in 2014 and had done FSC (pre-engineering) in 2016. In the very early age of I am convinced of the different technologies of computer science and the revolution it is bringing in the society so far truly inspired me, So this thing got me in the field of computer science. I am a have done Bachelor’s of computer science from Government College University, Lahore Pakistan.
I always looks for the best opportunity to work and engage myself to prove my skills/expertise and my interest out of the school/education system. Back in 2016, as i had to start my bachelor’s degree in October at the very early start of my degree i start finding my interest to be the part of some BIG organizations which would help me to grow exceptionally from others. I have long line organizational work and experience in a row which i definitely should proud of at end because it helped me alot in finding my reason to live a meaningful life. My first participation is as “GRAPHIC DESIGNER” in my university event, called SOFTRONIX 2017 conducted under IEEE GCU Branch Lahore, below is the closing ceremony picture of SOFTRONIX 2017 event with the team of talented individuals of IEEE GCU Branch Lahore. I also joined Tedx GCU Branch Lahore in Social Team in 2018. The First ever TEDx event happened in Government College University, Lahore. Below is the picture of setup of our first version of TEDx in GCU, Lahore Campus.
In late 2017, i have also worked as a team member of one of best incubation center of Pakistan. Plan9 Tech Incubator Centre Lahore. Plan9 is Punjab Information Technology Board’s tech incubator established with the vision of creating entrepreneurial ecosystem in Pakistan. Founded in August 2012, we are the pioneer of incubation in Pakistan, striving every day to ensure sustainable growth of early stage, tech-product based startups.
In the early 2019, I have also been blessed to be selected as Campus Director at Hult Prize from Government College University, Lahore for the year 2019, HOLD ON the list is not ended yet :)
I have also been the Part of Google Developer Group Lahore as a Public Relation associate. The Lifetime experience of my life to work with this bunch of Techie People in our community who trying their best to bring the latest technology trends in Pakistan from big tech giant companies like Google.
This is all i had done and I feel that i should proud of my all the work which i have done and blessed to be selected as Microsoft Student Partner Program for 2020–2021 in early January 2020 to promote the Microsoft technology in local community. This is the BIG opportunity that i have become the part from Government College University, Lahore of Pakistan.
As this program is associated with last 3–4 years in Pakistan but this year in 2020 Higher Education Commission of Pakistan collaborated with Microsoft National Imagine Cup 2020 to outreach the Microsoft Student Partner Program in Pakistan because Pakistan is lagging behind in having international technology brands and tech giant companies for students and professionals as well. So, this year almost 60 Microsoft Student Partner Selected from different universities of Pakistan, all of us invited to to attend the National Cup Finals 2020 in which 60 Teams got Shortlisted to display, pitch and represent their projects in front of the judges, investors and technology enthusiastic and out of which one team got finalist to compete in the Regional Finals of Pakistan which will be held in Amsterdam.
DAY at National Imagine Cup final 2020: A good number of People walked around through-out the day and show active participation in the event. We also got on stage recognition during the event. The Senior Microsoft Student Partner Program Manager had truly appreciated the whole Microsoft Student Partner ‘s from Pakistan. The MSP Program has 3 Levels to complete it’s one year tenure and you will be further associated with Microsoft depending upon the keen interest you show to them. Now I am Upgraded to Beta level which is the second rank in MSP Program and looking forward to achieve the next badge. YAAAAS! Very Excited :)
